Global Technologies Group Reports Results of Mercury Capture of 98% After First 16 Hours of the Operational Run at Cement Plant
SARASOTA, FL, Aug 09, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) announces that the Mercury removal percentage of 98% after only 16 hours of operation will continue to increase with the continuous insertion of the MBS(TM) chemicals to attain full saturation and that data will be available for the full 24 hour period by this evening and will be reported tomorrow. It is being monitored daily and verified by both the plant and MSE Technology Applications, Inc.
"We expected these results at the plant due to the fact that the various sophisticated tests done by MSE covered all contingencies of the use of MBS(TM) and its potential interactions at the plant and were thought out well in advance. These results and the results for the next two weeks are being compiled and will meet the EPA rules set for Mercury capture from stack gasses. The results of Mercury capture will be disseminated not only to the DOE and the EPA but also to all plants throughout the world for the use of MBS(TM) for Mercury capture available to them without any cost to shut down for a retrofit, create zero job loss and be implemented immediately. This is the final process for the use of MBS(TM) in all areas of both the cement and power plant industries as well as the DOE and EPA benchmarking MBS(TM) for best use status at the present time. We are looking forward to the completion of this run and its implementation for use in removing a highly toxic airborne pathogen from not only cement plants but all industries that emit toxic Mercury into our environment," stated James Fallacaro, President of Global Technologies Group, Inc.
