Empire Film Group Announces Updates on Several Pro

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., July 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Empire Film Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EFGU) currently has several projects that the company has in pre-production and plans to produce in 2013 and 2014. The projects will be produced in conjunction with Odyssey Media Inc. along with other international distributors and partners.

The first project will be the feature film "Rio Heat". Final cast negotiations and production schedules with star talent will be completed soon with production scheduled to begin in November of 2013. The project will be filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in association with Filmes do Serro.

Empire is also in negotiations with several International Broadcasters for the 22 episode television series based on the "Rio Heat" feature film. The television series will be produced immediately following the completion of the feature film and also produced in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The project will be produced as Canada - Brazil CoProduction to take advantage of the tax incentives and rebates available in each country.
