The launch of the new ACTIVE RegOnline comes on the heels of the results of a survey that ACTIVE conducted in partnership with iMeet. Entitled "What RFPs Mean to SMBs: Turning Headaches into Solutions for Event Planners," the survey explored RFP processes used in SMBs. Participants comprised 190 event planners at companies with less than $1 billion in annual revenue1 . Roughly half of all survey participants reported using multiple separate tools throughout the event management process -- such as e-mail, Excel®, and Outlook® -- creating inefficiencies and potential for errors. Additionally, participants who use online sourcing tools said they are able to complete tasks and receive responses to RFPs from hotels, sooner.
