So just for giggles I did a little research and a
Post# of 7290
There are a total of 4187 Walmarts and Sams Clubs in the US and Canada. There are another 560 Costco's in the USA. This is a total of 4747 locations.
Let's conservatively assume that 50% of the locations will carry JL Bermuda. That is 2374 locations.
The pricing listed in the blog is as follows:
CD: $17.95
Book: $19.95
Combo: $39.95
Lets say each location carrying the JLB series sold 10 of each cd, book, and combo pack.
$17.95 + $19.95 + $39.95 = $77.85 x 10units = $778.50
$778.50/10 Units x 2374 Locations = $1.85 million in sales (VERY CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE) from 10 units per sales outlet (assuming 50% placement)
Now I firmly believe that this can sell more than 10 units per store and I'm conservatively assuming ONLY 50% of Walmarts, Sams and Costco's carrying the collection (in reality it will likely be more).
This ALSO excludes other retail outlets such as Barnes and Noble mentioned in the update. We know that HHSE has a history of placement in Best Buy and Target also. This also excludes ONLINE purchase from Walmart and the like.
Bottom line HHSE is GOING TO BANK on this deal (IMO)
Go HHSE!
