OK Folks, lets review a few facts here. Baltia does not determine their certification and startup schedule by themselves, so demanding (asking?) for a timeline at the meeting on Wed. is pointless, because the FAA sets that schedule ("Schedule of Events") - and the FAA will not do that until they have formally accepted the manuals, had a formal meeting with the 5 "blessed managers", and declared them through the "gate". So - Baltia cannot answer that question with details, but can only approximate a schedule until the FAA sits down with Baltia and works out the Schedule of Events (includes training for various disciplines, dispatch implementation, aircraft maintenance department being formally set up, emergency evacuation demonstration, proving runs demonstration, base inspections, etc etc etc).
For those of you who say "I won't invest any more money directly with the company in Private Placement, when I can buy it cheaper publicly", I say that you are not thinking clearly - what good does it do to get a "good deal" at today's rates, if the company does not get the $$ it needs to become operational?? I would much rather invest at 25-50% higher price in a PP and have my stock worth something, than get 50% more shares of something that becomes worthless. I have bought many shares via PP, and some over the counter - right now, any money I invest will be via PP only, as I want to do everything I can to increase the chance of all my previous investments being successful.
Regarding the PR campaign - have any of you done this before? - I mean really - have any of you had to decide when and how to spend $$$$ (that cost shares) in a highly regulated industry?? Nope. Baltia has its hands tied in many ways, including - they CANNOT do PR that reflects on their "being" an airline until the DOT says so - they CANNOT and SHOULD NOT spend $$ on PR until they have something substantive to say . . . .
Frustration is felt by ALL. The company is still in the running, and as soon as the FAA moves them forward (the ball is now in the FAA's court), then a modest statement will do . . . . and the company will benefit much more by understating things til there is an FAA approved Schedule of Events that has been formalized.
