Matty, exactly right. I wonder how much of that alleged $440M loss involved their exposure to phantom shares and FTDs in SFIO. I wonder if this story about one of their algorithms destroying almost their entire capital on the books in a matter of an hour via such an obvious mistake of buying high and selling low is not just some pathetic phony excuse to hide the real story that they may have been in financial trouble for the last few years and were manipulating and naked shorting and selling phantom shares creating billions of FTDs in every penny stock imaginable in an attempt to aggregate the phony capital so they could leverage huge sums of fake money to day trade in the market in an attempt to flip their way out of the hole they were in??? Hmmmmmm
It is quite interesting that from April to June 2011 a great many OTC and pink sheets stocks price and volume activity was pumped up to amazing heights all at the exact same time, in some instances on the exact same volume figures on the same days, only to crash back down to the "cellar" eventually and the DTC coming in to clean up the mess, and hide the activity, by way of various chills and global locks. If one were so inclined, it would be interesting to use the link below as an example of how and where to look to see NITEs behavior in the market during those illicit times. Too bad most of the public info sources displaying market activity does not go back to the beginning of 2011.
