This is the main tunnel entrance at the Dunkirk mine.
.
How much will it cost to restore that rail line? How long will it take?
Does WSRA or GDSM have the experience to develop an underground mine? Any mining engineers on staff?
An underground transport system is important to move ore, materials, equipment and people. A map of the
mine must be done to establish the best system for transport from the stope to the shafts and extraction sites.
Because the Dunkirk has shafts on different levels the system becomes more complicated. Lifts and conveyors
are a common solution. Many underground mines use an inclined shaft to transport people, materials, ore and equipment.
Rail cars can be used on a inclined shaft with the use of a winder.
WSRA signed a JV with GEAR on Sept 29, 2011 to develope the Silver Cord Mine that was to provide "immediate" revenues! Ten months later nothing has been done!
Western Sierra Mining ( PINK:WSRA ) has concluded an agreement with Mission Holdings to operate the Silver Cord mine in central Arizona which Gear International has an agreement to develop. According to the agreement, Western will provide a variety of mining services including permitting, both underground and surface exploration, mine engineering, geology and tunnel rehab in preparation for an extensive sampling program. Gear International, Inc. will provide the required funding.
Under the proposed agreement, GolfGear International will provide Mission Holdings and Western Sierra the necessary funding to immediately begin initial mining operations, as well as additional funding necessary for expansion. Western Sierra Mining Corp. will provide its extensive mining expertise, labor, equipment, and production management of the mine.
