My pick for MVP Big Board: My Big Board MVP pick is CLWR $1.34.
DD: from nasdaq 10 most active stocks, Clearwire corp rose 5.7 % today with over 22 million in volume. CLWR is advancing after FCC said earlier today that it had taken steps to accelerate the roll out of 4g broadband networks to and bring new broadband services to rural areas. The agency also eliminated unneeded regulations and provided increased opportunities for broadband deployment in rural areas. Clearwire which has a 4g mobile broadband network, could benefit from the decreased regulation of such networks and greater demand for 4g services in rural areas. In the past the company has looked to sell capacity on its 4g network to wireless carriers. In midafternoon trading, CLWR surged .16 cents, or 13%, to $1.34. I see it going no where but up from here. I got in just under a dollar because I saw the chart and the up trend it was taking.
On a personal note, we have CLWR service. We love it, and it works wonderfully. And never any service interruption with clearwire.
