GLTC +.13 News out today on landing FireIce contract with ConEdison.

GelTech Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: GLTC), creators of FireIce, a revolutionary water enhancing fire suppressant that has the potential to change current firefighting techniques, announced today that Con Edison (NYSE: ED) has expanded their use of FireIce to combat manhole and electric pole fires throughout their system wide network after seeing successful results. Con Edison predicts a significant cost-savings from using FireIce by limiting damage to manholes, electric poles and surrounding infrastructure.



Con Edison has also placed an initial order for GelTech's newly developed Emergency Manhole FireIce Delivery System (EMFIDS), a system that is custom designed to coat the ladder and Con Edison workers inside a manhole in case of an emergency. Con Edison provided funding and materials for GelTech to research and develop EMFIDS.
