Rs 55 lakh compensation to kin of Uttarakhand chopper crash victims No compensation can fill the personal void left by the death of 15 ITBP and NDRF personnel in a chopper crash during rescue operations in Uttarakhand last month, but at least the financial security of their families will be taken care of by the nearly Rs 55-lakh cumulative compensation set to be released as ex-gratia payment and insurance.
