LOS ANGELES, July 16, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Coats Entertainment announces the launch of their recording music artist, Elena Coats, website www.ElenaCoats.com will go live on July 16 ^th , 2013. Sixteen year old, Elena Coats is a young talented singer songwriter that writes all of her own music. Elena's parents discovered she could sing when she was only 4 years old. When Elena was 6 she learned how to play the piano and at the age of 12 she expressed interest in playing the guitar. She has not put the guitar down since.

Elena is spending her summer 2013 in the studio recording. She started the summer recording at Windmark Studios in Santa Monica, California. Elena was just in the studio writing and recording with Travis Clark, lead singer of We The Kings. Clark describes Elena's music as so unique, something that hasn't been done before, a female version of Coldplay. There is so much chemistry in the studio between the two. So much that Travis asked Elena to perform with him as a special guest performer on two of his tour dates on the Summer Fest 2013 Tour. Elena will be performing with We The Kings at the House of Blues Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California on July 30, 2013 at 7:00PM and at the House of Blues Anaheim in Anaheim, California on August 1, 2013 at 6:00PM. Coats is also in the recording studio with music producer and writer, Marcus John Bryant whom is on the Dieniahmar/EMI Publishing roster. Dieniahmar is Jermaine Dupri's publishing company and is a joint venture with EMI Publishing. Marcus is best known for co-writing "A Good Day For Love To Die" with the pop boy band group The Wanted and produced "If You're Out There" for John Legend. Currently working with on songs for Beyoncé, Rihanna and Flo Rida.
