Mamata faces flak for branding farmer Maoist In polite but firm words, the state human rights commission on Monday issued a strong caution to chief minister Mamata Banerjee for branding farmer Shiladitya Chowdhury a Maoist. Calling it a "wild allegation", the panel asked the government to pay him a compensation of Rs 2 lakh.
