TAINAN, Taiwan, July 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Himax Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: HIMX ) ("Himax" or "Company"), a leading supplier and fabless manufacturer of display drivers and other semiconductor products, today announced that the Company will hold its annual general meeting in Taiwan on September 4, 2013.

Shareholders will vote to adopt the Company's 2012 Audited Accounts and Financial Reports and transact any other business brought before the 2013 AGM. A copy of the Company's proxy statement has been filed with the SEC.
