National Boxing Franchise "Punches" Up Its Leaders

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., July 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TITLE Boxing Club, a fitness franchise that offers explosive total body boxing and kickboxing fitness workouts, recently announced the hire of two new positions within their corporate team. Jill Szymanski was hired in March of this year at the position of Director of Real Estate and Kevin Farley was hired in late 2012 as the Director of Marketing.

Before being hired by TITLE Boxing Club, Szymanski served as the Director of Real Estate and Franchise Development at Applebee's International Inc., where she managed the real estate team, assisting with asset management, market analysis and the delivery of corporate objectives for franchise and corporate development. Prior to this, Szymanski has held various corporate real estate development positions with Burger King, Bar Louie, Pillsbury and First Industrial.

At TITLE Boxing Club, Szymanski is in charge of new franchise territory allocation and development, market planning, lease review and approval and the real estate development process. When asked about her new position, Szymanski explained, "With TITLE Boxing Club's explosive growth recently, new club locations are being selected weekly. Having worked in corporate real estate for more than twenty years, I am confident that I can help make TITLE's process of selecting locations and opening clubs more profitable and better positioned for success."

Just a few months prior to Szymanski's hiring, Farley was employed at the new position of Director of Marketing. Prior to TITLE, Farley gained his first executive experience in the franchise space with a hyper growth brand, Value Place, where he served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, MMPM. Farley helped grow the multi-unit franchise start-up into the industry's fastest growing brand of the decade by implementing comprehensive marketing plans, creating brand standards, managing corporate communications, building a field marketing team and conducting competitive vendor selection, among other tasks. Previous marketing leadership positions were held by Farley with Bombardier–Flexjet, Midwest Airlines, and Delta Air Lines regional partner, COMAIR.

Since starting at TITLE Boxing Club, Farley's primary job duties consist of leading all marketing communications and promotional functions, launching a new national brand campaign, creating annual marketing plans, preparing promotional calendars and managing all outside marketing relationships, including the creative, digital, search, and social marketing agencies and the public relations agency of record.
