HIMR For some time now, shareholders have been waiting to hear something from the underwater forestry company Hollund Industrial Marine, Inc. concerning the progress of a first concession. Yesterday, the company simply posted to their blog, facebook and twitter account, “Company executives have returned. What a great trip!”
Really? That’s it? Come On, Man!
Response on the message boards ranged from confusion to aggravation to excitement. The market however clearly spoke to strong anticipation of a concession having been secured. Topping out the day’s volume with 302,852,992 shares traded, HIMR actually began to show some significant signs of life on the Bid side of the market.
Giving the trading consistency and large daily volumes of Hollund (HIMR), to the untrained eye, one would not realize the company has been sitting at a ‘No Bid’ for nearly two months. However, supporters of HIMR seem to have taken the position that any belief in Hollund will yield a great victory as patience would prevail. And with ‘sly’ comments made across the company’s social media forums, it is almost like they were secretly communicating with their loyal shareholder base. Decoding it would look something like this: Loyal shareholders, Loyal shareholders, please hear this. You will never again have the opportunity to purchase HIMR shares at these low low prices ever again. So be smart and “stock up” before “the announcement” is made.
But what happens if the anticipated announcement is made and the company tells the world that they are now officially on a lake in Latin America and prepared to begin generating revenues in excess of $2 million dollars per month. How would the market respond? Is it capable of bouncing back from these price levels? There is no doubt that at these levels, the risk is worth the reward. Only…, the company executives have returned from wherever it was in Latin America they traveled to, with absolutely no news to bear. Unless of course you consider, “Company executives have returned. What a great trip!” substantive news. Worse…, what if they said nothing because they came home empty handed?
Either way, you cannot get hurt jumping out of a basement window. And judging by the sizable capital raises and large investments HIMR’s primary competitors have made – multi-millions of dollars – should HIMR shock the world with news of a concession, it can be the biggest upset. Competitors just wouldn’t be able to compete with Hollund’s robotic systems. And shareholders, particularly those who waited on the sidelines when the stock is now at a price so affordable that even on the smallest investment enough shares can be amassed to secure a small fortune should it all come to fruition, will certainly kick themselves this month as all indications point to a concession.
A perfectly orchestrated suspenseful reality T.V. moment, isn’t it? Da Da Da Daaaaaaa
That’s my opinion..but please “Come on man”!
