News for 'NTEK' - (NanoTech Announces MMA Sponsorships Company Unveils Long Term Sponsorship of MMA Stars from the UFC and WSOF) SAN JOSE, Calif., Jul 09, 2013 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NanoTech Entertainment (OTCPINK: NTEK) announced that it has entered into long term sponsorship agreements with multiple top level mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters. The first three fighters to join the NanoTech team are David "Daudi" Mitchell, David "Badman" Huckaba, and Michael "May Day" McDonald. "NanoTech has been making a big move into the Media sector this year as we prepare to launch multiple new OTT/IPTV Channels, services and consumer products," stated NanoTech CEO Jeffrey A. Foley. "Part of our growth is to build up our presence with consumers. MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world, with world class organizations like the UFC putting on sold out events around the world. We feel this is a great field to be involved in to help build our brand." Foley continued, "We have selected fighters that share our values and we will help represent NanoTech and our products with pride." Mitchell, who fought in the past weekend's UFC 162 PPV event live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada was the first to fly the NanoTech logo. Mitchell has a professional record of 12 wins and 3 losses, with his last four fights being in the UFC. Huckaba made his mixed martial arts debut in 2006 at Gladiators Challenge 52: Deep Impact winning via first round submission in less than thirty seconds. He is the former Gladiator Challenge Heavyweight Champion and is the current West Coast FC Heavyweight Champion. Dave has fought in various organizations including Bellator, Gladitor Challenge, Tachi Palace Fights, EliteXC, Shark Fights, and KOTC. Huckaba holds an impressive 20-5 professional record. Huckaba will be fighting another MMA legend, Ray Sefo at on August 10, 2013 in his debut with the WSOF. That fight will air live on the NBC Sports Network. McDonald who has a professional MMA record of 15-2 competes in the bantamweight division of the UFC. A professional MMA competitor since 2007, McDonald signed with the sports premiere organization, the UFC, in 2010. McDonald is currently ranked the #5 bantamweight in the world by Sherdog and the #2 bantamweight by MMA Weekly. McDonald will be competing on August 17, 2013 on UFC on Fox Sports 1.
