Wow! I just checked my e-mail and seen twenty or more messages on this board. You guys sure are active today. Just a note regarding Coast Eco Timber. What I found is they only harvest about one tree per day, and still are able to command world-wide attention because of the value of these trees. I suggest not posting their production rate on other boards, but it is a helpful number when one considers that Hollund could harvest two to five trees per day using only divers. Of course, the big money will come from harvesting with the TigerLynk.
Has anyone considered the value of the stumps and shallow root systems for these trees? The grain structure in the stumps and roots is truly spectacular and extremely valuable and highly sought after by furniture makers and fine craftsmen. The same tool head intended for use on the TigerLynk when used for mining could be used to retrieve stump and root systems.
