Their technology is so disruptive that it can extend Moore' Law with 50 years! Amazing eh?! The POET platform is a core technology, many applications can be build with it/on it, so its understandable why the fat cats are willing to go deep in their wallet for this one! Intel & others throw Billions per year at R&D, yet for less of that amount they can have a brand new semiconductor chipset, top notch ready and probably the fastest thing (in that discipline) on the planet! They better have deep pockets!
