Well, I guess I am trying to determine what is probable v possible based on likely income and ultimate value of the company by said income. i.e., Jed Clampett has been broke most his life. Granny broke his favorite shotgun over Jethro's head so now Jed has to find a way to buy another gun. He considered taking out a loan but the banks laugh at him due to there being no financial promise for them (i.e., no verifiable income to repay, no assets to collect should he default). So, Ellie Mae went diggin' in her souvenir box where she keeps money she has been saving since she was a wee girl and gives it to her pa for a new gun. Despite his pride and misgivings, pa graciously accepts the gift and buys himself a new gun. And lo and behold, the first shot with that shiny new gun lands him smack dab into some crude. Lots of crude! So much crude that it is hard to determine just how much money ole' Jed is worth now.
Every bank from town to Dubai would love to give Jed some money now 'cause they know he is worth it. And people are tripping over each other in attempt to do business with this man that was unknown just a couple of weeks prior. Of course, he just humbly shakes his head and chuckles.
Using this analogy, :-) BMSN is successful in P1 with either present patent (siRNA/Hem) and BP makes a purchase. Writes a check to fund trials or purchases patent outright. Considering the number of scions of either should be multiple, how will this affect pps with the 2B count as it is? Given that confidence is very high of course, which it should be. And that unless someone grows a foot out their head during trials, the treatment will be successful and ultimately sold in a trillion dollar market.
I understand that $ figures are needed to establish the overall value. But, what I am trying to determine is the limitations based on the total number of A/S. Even with the company being valued at let's say 1 billion USD (just pulling a number) in sales and projected sales for any given year (preferably 2014!!!!). :0)
Happy Independence Day fellow Yanks!
