Ensenada has been surprisingly cool in the midst of a heat wave in western USA-- Las Vegas -100 miles from death valley just missed a record 4 consecutive days of 115 by only being 114 yesterday
Death valley=128* or more yesterday- is an odd place -only 40 miles from highest point in Calif -Mt Whitney at 14,494 feet
