Well put.
For the life of me I do not understand why people who are not willing to at least attempt to understand how the science works, will invest in it. Yeah, I understand the $$$ people see when they think bio & pharma. But seriously, unless you have the money to invest in the established companies who have already mastered the art of total manipulation, why bother if you can't practice some patience?
There is something else I want to point out about the forthcoming news: Regen hired a CRO (contract research organization) to assist with the IND application. If they have contracted any of the responsibility of the trials to Cromos, they too, have to have certain ducks in a row in order for the trials to commence. It doesn't matter that some of the great minds behind Hemxellerate are part of the advisory board. It doesn't matter their success with other trials. They will receive the same scrutiny as any other CRO for any other application.
Further, given that we are talking about intelligent, real time growth factors, should Hemxellerate be granted the go-ahead, changes within the cellular structure will be noted quickly. The patient base for this type of therapy is limited, yes. BUT, similar studies have proved very successful. This science is 4 decades plus in the making and the potential cells of interest have been narrowed. This is not a shot-in-the-dark they are taking. This is the science that many a men & women damn near drove themselves mad creating.
I am honored to have added considerably to the coffers by stealing from my kids' piggy bank. :-D
