I'm wondering whether this is a low key try-out of the technology, hence no link from the main site. Also, I'm assuming it's only audio (as per the PR) as some of the comments on the MPIX site seem to confirm that.

It's unheard of over here (UK) to have live video streamed from a festival such as Glastonbury or Reading as obviously everyone who's paid to go would not be happy (for some reason music is treated differently to football). The most you'll get is highlights of a few songs from a set some hours/days later.

This is definitely good news for MPIX investors and it's good to see them getting some web presence at last.

Oh and I do have 2 kids, and yes they are usually 3 steps ahead with this sort of stuff!
