Only the early birds would get the worm before the bid collapsed IMO.  Fiscal strength is what will allow a large number of traders/investors to sell into an appreciating pps to recover their cost basis, if they so choose.  I think that's smart investing trading.  Sure beats marrying another OTC.  But, is this just another OTC, or is this something special?  Therein lies the rub.  To your point, I think, would I rather be riding all free shares and be holding half as many if this busted silver or better?  I don't think so.  JMO.  GLTA!  $TECO
