Yes the MM can walk the price down but if they can't get anyone to sell to them
their only digging themselves a bigger hole. So when they do that it's time to BUY
because when they can't get actual sellers The Price will only go higher in the future.
As they cover any shares they short to drive the price down. Their just trying to shake
out weak hands. Do traders, market makers, specialists or others ever deliberately drive a stock's price down to -shake out- the last sellers- http://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/06/ma...lation.asp
