CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Jun 25, 2013) - Cobra Electronics Corporation ( NASDAQ : COBR ), a leading designer and marketer of award-winning consumer electronics, today announced the general availability of the newest Cobra two-way radios that include the CX112, CXT145, CX312, CXT345, CXT390 and CXT545. The series includes a redesign of its 100 series and completely new 300 and 500 series. The line features extended range in a more compact design with call alerts and 22 available channels.

The Cobra 100 series are the most economical two-way radio solution on the market with a built in weather radio and also featuring Roger Beep and Power Saver Circuitry. The 100 series include a 16-mile range Weather Alert, power saver circuitry and call alerts.

The 300 series models are designed for outdoor use and feature a 23-mile range, NOAA Weather and Emergency Radio, a dedicated WX button and Voice Activated Transmission (VOX) for hands-free use. The 300 series also comes with customizable tones to help distinguish between incoming callers.

The Cobra 500 series are waterproof models that features a 28-mile range with access to weather alerts, NOAA Weather and Emergency Radio, VibrAlert® suitable for extremely noisy or all-quiet environments, VOX hands-free voice-activated transmission, Roger beep tone, illuminated LCD display, LED flashlight and rubberized grips.
