HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM--(Marketwired - Jun 24, 2013) - The Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon has always enjoyed a reputation for style and service. As the recipient of Vietnam's prestigious five-star award, and of TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence in both 2012 and 2013, the hotel might understandably rest on its laurels for a while. But doing what's expected isn't how this premier luxury hotel likes to operate, which is just one reason why it is pleased to announce the refurbishment of its 254 deluxe rooms.
Featuring crisp décor and refreshed corridors, each of the revamped deluxe rooms can now do justice to its other major attraction: the view. Whether a guest gazes onto the vibrant city or languid Saigon River, every panoramic view captures a defining image of the city.
The Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon conveniently resides within the city's business district. And with nearly 2,400 square feet of flexible function space featuring natural light and river views, the hotel is one of the finest conference venues in Saigon. Landmark sights, meanwhile, like the Opera House and Reunification Palace, are just steps away, making this property one of the best hotel deals in Ho Chi Minh City.
One activity for which guests need not go far, however, is mealtime: Some of Saigon's best restaurants are inside the hotel. Book a luxurious private room at Kabin to try the updated Cantonese menu, or sample the irresistible seafood and locally sourced produce at Riverside Café, where international dishes share menu space with authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Just make sure to start the evening with a drink at either the rooftop pool bar for dramatic views, or the Atrium Lounge, where the internet-free space is instead dominated by pleasant music and signature cocktails.
From updated interiors, to elegant meeting space, to sophisticated culinary venues, the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon continues to establish itself as premier among Ho Chi Minh's luxury, five-star properties.
About the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon Boasting 336 guestrooms -- 254 of which are newly redesigned deluxe rooms -- as well as five dining venues, a rooftop pool, an on-property spa and a fitness center, the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City offers its guests an ideal entrée to Vietnam. All deluxe guestrooms afford panoramic views of the city or Saigon River, and even the basic rooms feature 37-inch flat-screen televisions, wireless high-speed internet and coffee-tea service. Guests visiting for business will find the hotel's 2,400 square feet of meeting space to be at once inspiring and revitalizing, as views of the river and natural light gently diffuse across the rooms. When it's time to break for a meal, guests can grab an informal bite in the Lobby Lounge, or opt for a glitzier culinary experience at Kabin, a renowned Cantonese restaurant with a newly updated menu. The Riverside Café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a side dish of river views, while the rooftop pool bar routinely hosts barbecues. The Atrium Lounge, however, may just be the best place to relax. Uplifting music replaces computers and smartphones (it is an internet-free zone), and signature cocktails complement the upscale bar menu. All this is enough to reenergize even the most jetlagged guest to get out and see the sights. Museums, shops and landmarks like the Reunification Palace are all within easy distance of the hotel. It's no wonder, then, that the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon has been the recipient of many accolades, including TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence and the Vietnamese Government's prestigious five-star award.
