STL Marketing Group, Inc. (OTC: STLK) announces that the Board of Directors of the Empresa Propietaria de la Red, S.A. (EPR) has approved the execution of the drafted Letter of Intent with Energ?a Renovable Versant SRL , STLK?s wholly owned subsidiary. The Letter of Intent is to ?open? or interconnect the proposed wind farm to the Sistema de Interconexi?n El?ctrica de los Pa?ses de Am?rica Central (otherwise known as SIEPAC). The Board of Directors of EPR met this past week in San Salvador. The Company expects to sign the LOI early next week upon the return of EPR?s senior management to their offices in San Jose, Costa Rica.
?We are very pleased to have the Board of Directors of EPR agree to the Letter of Intent that was drafted earlier this month between us and EPR. While the proposed Power Purchase Agreement being negotiated envisions the transport, or interconnection, to be handled by the off-taker or buyer, this LOI allows us to undertake the interconnection study and other work necessary in order to design and build the sub-station for the project. We are grateful for the support we are receiving from EPR and recognize the regional implications of this proposed new substation. We have been working in conjunction with various groups and expect this to be a coordinated team effort between ourselves, the off-taker, Grupo ICE and EPR. This is a major milestone for the Company. We are the only non-government entity to receive such support from SIEPAC in Costa Rica,? said CEO, Jose P. Quiros.
