Marathon Group Corp. Establishes Training Center for Healthcare Professionals at Its New York Headquarters
Marathon Group Corp. Has Established an In-House Training Center for Healthcare Professionals; The Center Will Initially Focus on Skill Cross-Training of Company Employees to Enable Greater Flexibility to Meet Patient Needs
BROOKLYN, NY--(Marketwired - Jun 20, 2013) - Marathon Group Corp. (PINKSHEETS: PDPR) announced today that they have established a new in-house training center at their New York headquarters.
The Company's initial focus will be on the educational needs of healthcare professionals that work for Marathon. Specifically they plan to cross-train their entire staff so they are proficient in several high-value skill sets.
"One key issue for any service business is maximizing the utilization of people resources," said MacDonald Tudeme, President and CEO of the Company. "With our new training center we'll be able to continuously cross-train our employees. This will make each professional multi-purposed, which will significantly reduce idle time or having to refuse an assignment for lack of appropriately trained staff."
In the near future Marathon also plans to provide Refresher or Re-entry training to those seeking to reactivate nursing licenses or return the active workforce. This will give Marathon an additional revenue stream and ensure that the training center operates at full capacity.
"The need for Healthcare service continues to grow at a rapid pace, with Government programs adding to the demand in the future."
"Our primary objective is to develop multiple revenue streams within the healthcare services market. We demonstrated this with the announcement of our new staffing division and our healthcarejobhunt.com website."
"Establishing a training center for both in-house personnel and, in the future, retraining is another piece of our grand plan for Marathon Group Corp.," Mr. Tudeme added.
