How long to set up a phase II trial?  I sure hope

How long to set up a phase II trial?  I sure hope you say less than a year.

I thought there was something about Kevetrin showing 5 to 40 fold safety level in pre-clinical testing on different lines of cancer.  If this was so, shouldn't our MTD be way at the 9 cohort or above if most don't even think we will see any possible reactions from the patients til the 4th or 5th cohort or even later?

In your example, if some vestiges of the product working was evidenced in the 5th cohort and MTD was the 6th, that sure seems close to me when I was expecting 3 or 4 cohort interval between the two.  Of course, my beliefs are without foundation so I guess most are useless as to how the trial should play out.
