Sure Treaty is refusing to pay currently.
Because it was told to Treaty that the work wasn't being done properly and some of the charges were fraudulent.
Let me tell you what I saw. I've been on the lease several times. The work that I saw done was either shoddy, incomplete, or not done at all.
It was also told to Treaty, by a 3rd party with interest in the lease, that the parties doing the work, were laughing about how they were making up fraudulent bills and sticking them on Treaty.
I would think it's best to let the court decide what charges are real and which are fraudulent.
The only thing going on here is that the bill is being contested. This is not a material event.
If you find any of this to be untrue, you're more than welcome to come to the lease and show me the work that was done and what needs to be paid. At that time we'll speak to the 3rd part together about what he believes to be fraudulent charges.
