Somewhere along the way my feeble mind got lost.

Somewhere along the way my feeble mind got lost. I seem to remember that results of these tests were imminent a few months ago and I even remember a quote from Dr. Menon mentioning that he was anxious to see them.
Even if DF wanted more samples I'm confused as to why we are 4 months down the road and still now just getting ready to get in line to have the testing done. Was the testing on cohorts 1 and 2 done in March and we are adding more to the data pool now? Did they delay all of the testing? Are we still just testing on 1 and 2 or have they added samples from 3 and 4 now?
I'm sure I don't know what i'm talking about but I'm of the opinion that the results from 1 and 2 were negative and they aren't being released because they can justify withholding the data by saying that the sample size was too small. By asking for more samples they can delay the release of meaningless negative news and get data from higher dose cohorts more likely to deliver a favorable outcome.
Someone please correct me with facts if they are out there, this is all just my opinion.
Here are the quotes from February...
"Studies evaluating the p21 biomarker will soon begin and the first data report is expected in mid-March."
“While we are still early in the trials, we are eager to receive information on the p21 biomarker as it could represent a major breakthrough in cancer research."
