Kanola,  I'm so sorry to hear you lost Kahlua. 

Kanola,  I'm so sorry to hear you lost Kahlua.  I'll cry along with you!  Dogs quickly become our kids and our best friends.  The youngest one below is Dakota in the middle and the one on the right posing for Playdog is Savya.  We lost the older one on the left Nellie three Xmas's ago.  She was 14 yrs old when she died and probably 12 yrs old in this picture. I let her out to peepoop one day and she wondered off and never came back.   She was still eating and I wasn't going to put her down until she stopped eating.  As sick as dogs get and as hurting as they become; they will  fight and fight to stay alive just for their masters.  I regret not putting Nellie down rather than her having the need to put herself down.  In recent years we also needed to put down Clancy who was a beautiful  German Short Hair Pointer. He had an inoperable tumor near a major organ.  Clancy was put down a year before this picture was taken.
