U.S. stocks slide on Greece, Spain concerns
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks extended their slide into a second session Monday, with blue-chips suffering their first back-to-back triple-digit loss since April, as concerns about Greece and Spain debt spiked. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIJIA) lost 101.11 points, or 0.8%, to 12,721.46, led by a 2.9% retreat in McDonald's Corp. (NYSE:MCD) shares. The S&P 500 (SNC:SPX) lost 12.14 points, or 0.9%, to 1,350.52. All 10 sectors were lower, dragged by natural-resource stocks. The Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQ:COMP) fell 35.15 points, or 1.2%, to 2,890.15. Heavyweight Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) fell 2.8%
