terrestrial experience added to the misunderstanding -here in a long 3000 mile drive the curve is not nearly as exaggerated-and this is ca 55% of the Ensenada -Ningpo distance -the "curve" really gets magnified over longer distances,which most of us dont deal w in our daily lives
