"The new Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v3 product family is built upon our latest server processor architecture and was designed to deliver high performance while continuing to drive energy efficiency for the emerging microserver market, server appliances, and workstations," said Dylan Larson, Director of Xeon Product Marketing at Intel. "AMAX has utilized these innovations to develop new server solutions to offer a more powerful, more power-efficient appliance platform for their customers."

The latest AMAX server solutions designed around the Intel Xeon® processor E3-1200 v3 product family include:

  • ServMax™ X-11305 / X-11306 : The X-11305 and X11306 1U, short depth servers are ideal for ultra-low power server appliance, data center and cloud deployments. Both platforms feature a 22nm, 4 th generation Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v3 product family and the Intel® C226 chipset, four hot-swap or internal 3.5" SATA drive bays, up to 32GB DDR 1600Mhz memory, a 350W or 250W power supply, and intelligent remote server management.

"The Intel Xeon processor E3-1200 v3 product family offers high performance, incredible energy efficiency, and robust media capabilities that are an essential part of AMAX's turnkey OEM appliance platforms," said James Huang, Product Manager at AMAX. "As a 2013 Intel Technology Provider Platinum partner, AMAX's balanced portfolio of total turnkey appliances gives ISVs a competitive market advantage with proven performance and an extended product lifecycle."
