Set to fully launch in Summer 2013, the new website allows users to garner a further "sneak peek" into the upcoming open beta release of Yappn.
The new Yappn web site provides users with a first look at some of the enhanced social features of the platform and delves into the creation of Yappn boards. Once a user signs up they will receive a small amount of Yappn Coins, allowing them to initially create a discussion board, however each discussion board will require the support of other members of the Yappn community to "tip" it and allow it to go live. This methodology will initiate a group of creators and founders who will have a vested interest into the well being of the boards and allow for a degree of self moderation for the board's activities. Users can create, found and participate globally in their native language, as each user's Yappn experience will be native to their home language providing global communication in almost 70 languages while still maintaining a user's experience in only their native language.
