on 8-K Filings: MINE didn't have the money or resources on hand to complete those energy projects anytime soon so it only made sense to negotiate terms to return the rights to the companies that they were acquired from. The royalty agreement in those contracts insures that, if those projects ever do get off the ground, MINE will receive a share of the profits without actually having to do ANYTHING in regard to them from here on out. It's a win-win situation for MINE; they no longer have to worry about the financial or administrative burden associated with those projects
but will still share in any future profits.
The fact that MINE's CEO deferred his salary in exchange for 30M COMMON SHARES is proof that he is confident in MINE's ability to increase shareholder value here. In my opinion, it also means that he will try even harder to increase the common's PPS since he now has a respectable amount of shares himself.
