Peregrine Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ PHM) shares declined 1.02% to $1.70. The company, on May 20, announced that it has reached agreement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on a Phase III registration trial design of the company’s lead clinical immunotherapeutic candidate bavituximab in second-line non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The trial design was supported by promising data from a Phase IIb trial in patients treated with bavituximab plus docetaxel. Final data from the study will be presented at the upcoming ASCO Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 1, 2013.

Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:ACTC) shares climbed 0.13% to $0.0752 in the early hour. The company on May 23 announced the appointment of Edward “Ted” Myles, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. Myles joins the Company with nearly 20 years of progressive finance and operations experience in the life sciences industry.

Liquidmetal Technologies Inc (OTCBB:LQMT) shares gained 1.18% to $0.0855 in the morning hour. The company on May 14 reported results for the quarter ended March 31, 2013. In Q1 2013, the company generated nominal revenues as it focused on the development of prototype parts for its customers. Cash totaled $5.5 million at March 31, 2013, as compared to $7.2 million at December 31, 2012.

Italk Inc (OTCBB:TALK) stock dropped 23.46% to $0.685. The company on May 29 announce that it has completed the acquisition of ITG, Inc., an established 17-year-old Texas-based international telecommunications company. For the past 17 years, ITG has been a leader at providing retail long distance calling card services over the Internet.  They were pioneers in the business and have built a loyal customer base that now generates over $1 million in annual revenu
