I miss him. I saw Carlin live three times and would never miss his HBO yearly specials. I walked right past him up in one of the lobbies of the Poconos resorts. I didn't want to bother him with an autograph so in passing I just said "Thanks for all the laughs." He just kept walking and seemed to be focused on the show.
