Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. (OTC: SSHS ), a provider of corporate, industrial and residential security solutions, announces today that it has signed a memorandum of agreement with The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] to market and distribute Boeing’s Visual Security Operations Console (VSOC) Sentinel technology nationally ( http://www.boeingvsoc.com/about.html ).
The companies will establish a demonstration facility at Safeguard’s corporate headquarters located in Dallas, Texas where Safeguard has built its new state-of-the-art Security Command and Control Center. This new facility will support national sales opportunities and will give both existing and potential clients a firsthand look at VSOC Sentinel’s infrastructure protection capabilities for all types of government and commercial applications.
Ray Navarro, Vice President for Safeguard’s Products and Services Group stated, “Boeing’s VSOC Sentinel technology incorporates existing security platforms, devices, sensors and alarm systems into high-definition 3-D models of buildings and other critical infrastructure assets. This provides end-users at the control center level -- both local and remote -- with a real-time picture of events and alarms in their operational space.” Navarro adds, “Our firm specializes in security command center design and we implement these technologies not only in our own video monitoring facility, but also in our client’s proprietary facilities. This product is one of the most technically advanced 3-D modeling video graphics monitoring technologies on the market and we are very excited about the capabilities this highly sophisticated video product brings to Safeguard and our clients.”
Sean Finegan, Vice President, Business Development for Safeguard stated, “The Boeing VSOC technology allows our firm the ability to significantly enhance our product and service offerings in the video monitoring arena and it establishes a major differentiator for us in the marketplace against our competitors. I anticipate annual sales in excess of $6 million on the VSOC product alone, generating additional reoccurring monthly revenue for monitoring services.”
R. Michael Lagow, Safeguard’s CEO, stated, “This is one of the most exciting business ventures we have encountered since entering the video monitoring and surveillance business four years ago. Boeing’s VSOC product combines powerful capabilities to help improve critical infrastructure protection, and with Safeguard’s extensive security systems experience and market access, we can now make this incredible technology available to our end-users.” Lagow added, “Our security command and control center located at our Dallas corporate headquarters will be deployed with the Boeing VSOC technology for demonstration by the first week of December. We will also be hosting an open house to our end-users and guests the same week.”
