Its really wild when you try and line it up on goo

Its really wild when you try and line it up on google earth....far from an exact science. The curve takes it further up our coast than you would think, and higher up towards alaska as well before curving back down to China. It appears to cruise to the south of alaskas huge stretch of islands pretty consistently at whatever distance....then it tapers "down and over".
