TESLA will be written and produced by Terry Keefe and illustrated by artist Bong Dazo. Dazo is well-known for impressive work on numerous Marvel Comics titles including DEADPOOL, THUNDERBOLTS, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE, as well as Dark Horse's STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC.
Keefe's credits include the Red Giant comic series SUPERNOVAS, which is now being developed as an animated feature film. Keefe has extensive experience in the film industry, starting out as an assistant and working up to the Director of Development position at Orion Pictures. He co-wrote and directed 1999's SLAVES OF HOLLYWOOD (a movie about working as an assistant in the film business) in addition to numerous short films. Keefe's latest film as a producer, a psychological thriller called THE RED ROBIN starring Judd Hirsch (INDEPENDENCE DAY), is currently in post-production for release this December.
In TESLA, Nikola Tesla uses his greatest inventions to battle against a shadowy organization of the planet's most brilliant minds bent on world domination. With the help of his fun-loving sidekick Mark Twain and genius assistant Mathilda, Tesla becomes a steampunk science hero.
