Whoaa there, Hawk. I did not say a "few months", I said months. I think it might be easier for you to understand the logistics, if you contact Baltia and ask about their expansion plans.
Baltia plans to expand to three flights per week withing six weeks, to St. Petersburg. I am told that within three months of starting, they will be in the process of getting a second aircraft online, which will both back up the first, and provide for expanded service.
Within a year, they expect to have a minimum of three aircraft in service . . . and that provides the opportunity to do a maximum of 21 round trips per week, divided up between multiple destinations.
Contracts for services? Of course that will be done, and will be accommodated by destinations that are waiting for this non-stop service.
I have watched Baltia's planning for several years, and am impressed with their relatively conservative planned growth . . . . done at a pace that enables them to control employee training while maintaining their desired corporate culture. I expect them to succeed in their efforts.
Good luck to you, Hawk. I have enjoyed reading your posts.
