Ann1, can I take a moment to just say it like it happened today? This is going to be brutally honest, and I hope the post is allowed to stay up. You, of all people, are able to have a logical conversation about this stuff.
The 10Q was brutal. As soon as it was released, Steve came onto this board. I'm not sure if he thought people were gonna sing his praises or what. But as soon as people started asking questions, he labeled it as "organized bashing". Completely laughable, IMO. Did he really expect a bunch of Kum Ba Yah to be happening when he blindsides us with $0 in revenue and 700 million+ in convertibles and an O/S approaching 2 billion?
So please take some time to digest the 10Q. Then take some time to look at Steve's statements today. And if you still have some time left, take a look at Steve's statements on this public forum over the past few weeks. Something just isn't adding up. And Steve knows it. He got very, very defensive today when people asked questions. It is waaaaaay past time for everyone to start holding his feet to the fire! You "longs" need to hold him more accountable and stop letting him play the blame game so much. He is the CEO. But IMO, he's doing a very poor job in managing this company and managing the share structure. And he plays this silly little game of "if you don't sing my praises, then you hurt my feelings, and I get pissed off and dismiss you as a basher." He is the CEO of a publicly traded company, for goodness sake. He needs to act like it. And the other part that really bothers me (and it seems to have ramped up to a new level in the past few weeks, including today) is that he refuses to take one ounce of the blame for any of this. Everything is always someone else's fault. These are the signs of a master manipulator. If you really dig into the financials, you'll see what's going on, and Steve isn't as "clean" as he makes himself appear.
It was easy for me to see right though Steve a long time ago. But today, his true colors shined very clearly, and I hope longs are starting to get a sense for it.
By all means, I hope he's able to pull a rabbit out of a hat here. I have plenty of money invested here. I just wish someone else was steering this ship!
Okay, enough of my rant. I hope you get the gist of what I'm trying to say.
