Interesting observation, perhaps it's just coincidence, but maybe not......
Been looking over several plays today, some that I'm in, some I may be getting in, some I'm just watching....
Seems like the majority of them that are "in limbo", seemed to be stalled out in the general area of where most of the long holders claim to be averaged in at.
Is this coincidence? Is this manipulation? Is this just characteristic of a stock where many longs have a substantial position collectively, enough so that they cannot sell at a profit, they aren't willing or able to add, and the PPS just stymies at that position?
In reference to RENU, I would guess that more than a few longs are averaged in, in the mid 20's . With no news, no finances, no communication from the company, no one is going to buy. With not much chance for profit, and maybe even a little loss, no one is willing to sell. So, we hang here.
Problem is this: what if even just one investor, with a few million shares, decides, "Had enough, first loss is best loss, I'm outta here", and puts everything into the Bid. With no buying support, we find a plunging PPS and then panic selling can set in and before you know it, triple 0's are up, and the only companies that can recover from that (after peaking out well over .007), are ones that openly communicate, with proactive, totally committed CEO's and management teams.
I guess one has to ask themselves, just how precarious of a position are we in here? Is there anything positive that an investor who spent so much time, money and effort in building their position with a company, can do?
I, for one, don't know how to make a company communicate with their shareholders. My usual MO in a case like this, is to walk. Unfortunately, I know what that would mean to other shareholders who have done their part in helping to build whatever is here.
Just thinking out loud. Some things need to get let out of your head, or it will cause your head to explode or your brain to implode.
Best of luck all.
