OBJE Announces Hot New Mobile Gaming App for Apple and Android
Hot on the heels of Phantasmic’s submission to the Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) App Store and Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) Play app market, OBJ Enterprises and Novalon Games announced today that they have begun development on the next stellar addition to the partnership’s growing stable of mobile gaming applications.
Development is now underway on Creature Tavern, a strategy and time management video game with all of the fun and nerve-wracking excitement of classic mobile console games like Diner Dash. Players will take on the challenge of serving surly and exotic monsters, trolls and goblins in a medieval tavern, taking care to earn as much money as possible as the characters circulate in and out of the watering hole.
Dedicated players will love learning the personality of each different creature in order to deliver better service and manage the ghouls’ tempers as the tavern grows crowded. You don’t want to make these creatures angry!
Unlike previous games, OBJE and its partner, Novalon, are preparing Creature Tavern to debut as a paid app that also includes some bonus in-app purchases. Fifteen of the iPad’s Top 25 most downloaded paid apps ever on the Apple App Store are games, and 21 of the iPhone’s Top 25.
Creature Tavern is the joint venture’s latest product designed to capture share of more than $9 billion in revenues pulled in by app developers since the App Store’s inception. In addition to partnering with developers to create and market hot new titles for the App Store and its Android counterpart, Google Play, OBJE is hard at work developing a new online platform to help independent game developers craft, publish and profit off of brilliant new games dreamed up in boardrooms and bedrooms around the world.
