To all, VU logo:

It's good, clean, graphic, professional, sensually connected, but (maybe) not perfect.

So I opened my big mouth in a PM asking Steve if he's open to seeing some ideas. To my surprise, he would welcome seeing ideas from the board. Confirmed also that we're working with VU.

Steve: lk to people on the board and let them know we would love to see ideas. Yes it's VU.

We could have fun with this; hopefully serious fun. A company's face means a lot in communications.

Open to presentation thoughts. Rules or no rules. Upload here or we could share a private graphics room on, say, Tumblr or other site.

It might be helpful to look at broadcast logos; what works and why as well as the hopelessly hokie. See links below.

A good idea can come from anywhere. So go for it. Word of caution: Don't be hurt if your design isn't loved or if it's partially loved and then handed over to a designer. Also, let's not get into a long discussion about prizes or renumeration. If it happens, it happens.
