The problem is that results vary widely with terrain, atmosphere , particular drivers, loads, etc and fleets want to know the reasons certain great results are obtained in certain periods and why during other periods not so great results are obtained. Cold weather also is a major factor and adjusting amperage for temperature changes needs more testing. The technology will get there. But 3% improvement has been commented as acceptable by some fleets but when it comes time to stepping to the plate they want a good bit more than that with their butts on the line installing a new technology .
