Folks shorting and naked short selling OTC stocks, and attempting to manipulate the price down to cash in:

Bona fide market makers - Likely naked short selling into buying demand - NOT THEIR JOB TO NAKED SHORT SELL INTO BUYING DEMAND WHEN THERE IS PLENTY OF LIQUIDITY AVAILABLE! Naked short selling to create an orderly market doesn't mean 90% to 100% short volume day in and day out for "targeted" stocks.

Broker-dealers - Accepting the counterfeit electronic equity, created by market makers, and depositing it into their retail customers accounts. Some broker-dealers may also be working with market makers to naked short sell and to "reset" the naked short sales through non-tape transactions.

Clearing Houses - Those naked short selling are self-clearing broker-dealers and/or market makers. As a result, nothing to deliver and nothing to borrow.

Off-shore Hedge Funds - See Broker-dealers and bona fide market makers.

Investment banks - See all of the above.

Who is NOT naked short selling or short selling non-marginable securities ?

RETAIL TRADERS ARE NOT SHORTING!

AND YES, THE $2.50 REQUIREMENT IS TO MAKE THE PLAYING FIELD UNEVEN AND FAVORING ALL OF THOSE MENTIONED ABOVE!

A knock on the door and a white hat in the window.

is their contradictions in these posts? .. LOL

YES those Freaking Market Makers, Brokers, Clearing Firms, Big Farts like GS, JPM, Hedge Funds,
Prop Firms, StockAnalysts etc. can Short legally and some try to hide and short illegally (NSS) they will not have to pay a fee like us retail investors which is $2.50 a share, why do i think the Fee is so high? ... IMO

it's to give those Farts an advantage to Short Sale in stocks that the normal investor wouldn't normally trade, some think we are blind or stupid, but got news for them the awareness of such corruption is everywhere and known to a lot of people/traders, it's seen on the news and on Market related news sites like CNBC or the SEC litigations etc...

just to funny seeing some trying to convince others differently with so much BS, gotta wonder why theres so much BASHERS, Ooops  i mean DISTORTERS

BS = POS
