Re: robie #29197

It happens this week.  We always had our company. That never left us. We got rid of JC without an expensive legal battle to push him out once we found out he was lying to us about the TV home we where in.

How we got here...

People need to understand at the upfront JC told everyone Punch was in 60 million homes. The next day I asked him to send me a certified list of cities and TV homes to see if he qualified for his bonus.  He sent me a letter stating 60 million homes and said it was accurate as of that day.  I called to verify the affiliates and on my first call I found out that we had lost 40 million of those homes 2 months ago. So the email JC send me certifying 60 million homes was false.  We confronted him with this and that is when he posted the ridiculous letter about me being a disgruntled X CEO. We then found other issues with book keeping and his previous payroll taxes from before we purchased the Punch Assets.  We requested him to explain the issues and instead he mounted this ridiculous attack.  We hired two law firms to begin the process of firing JC and removing him from all officer positions. We are very pleased that he made a move which allowed us a fast and clean out to remove him and get away from his past dealings.

We got rid out the worst part of the deal and gained relationships with all the providers needed to broadcast our own network. Once he was out of the picture we where inundated with amazing people that shared our vision and wanted to join us in kick starting our own network.  We now have everything in place and the most important thing is we did it for less then 5% of what we would have spent on Punch and its people.
